Kaye Pemberton

Kaye Pemberton trained and worked as a secondary art teacher in rural South Australia. Discovering her passion for clay, she went on to train as a production potter at the JamFactory Craft and Design Centre in Adelaide, South Australia in 1984. Since moving to Canberra in 1999, Pemberton completed a Graduate Diploma in Fine Arts at the Australian National University School of Art.

Pemberton's studio is now located in her back yard in suburban Canberra and her work focuses on the ceremonies of daily living and the early Australian 'making do' aesthetic driven by economy.
