Accredited Professional Membership

Professional craft practitioners and designers whose outstanding contributions demonstrate a high standard of artistic merit and technical skill who have local, national and international experience and standing. This Membership includes a Public Liability and Personal Accident Insurance package.
Associate Membership

Emerging and established professional craft practitioners and designers who have strong local experience and engagement. This Membership includes a Public Liability and Personal Accident Insurance package.
Craft + Design Maker Membership

Perfect for practising craft and design practitioners to keep informed and help grow their profession, and for friends and supporters who want to engage with local craft and design communities.
Craft + Design Lover Membership
$110.00 per year
Not a maker but want to support Craft ACT? Join our annual Craft + Design Lover membership for access to event invitations, discounts and the latest news. Your annual Membership fee will directly support Craft ACT to create greater opportunities for our community of craftspeople and designers, and for the growing audience who admire and appreciate the beauty, skill and excellence of their work.

Artist-in-Residence program
Craft ACT manages this acclaimed program and collaborates with arts organisations, educational institutions and national cultural institutions, and industry. Through these linkages we create opportunities for artists and designers to develop and maintain successful professional practices.
CAPO awards
Craft ACT sponsors two awards as part of the acclaimed annual CAPO awards. The Craft ACT awards will support contemporary craft practitioners, designers and makers who are current members of Craft ACT.
Exhibition proposals
Craft ACT invites craftspeople, designers, makers and curators at all levels of experience and across a variety of mediums to propose new exhibitions every year.

Craft ACT is always in need of publication quality images of our members work, to update your artist statement and professional images on file please submit them through Submittable, you will need to create a password and login, and remember to keep them somewhere safe as this is also the platform Craft ACT uses for DESIGN Canberra, Artists in Residence and Exhibition Program submissions.
