Opportunity for artist studio & co-working spaces at Gorman Arts Centre

Artist Studios

Gorman Arts Centre is currently calling for expressions of interest for studio residents. The studios would be suitable to artists working across a range of mediums, but particularly practices such as textiles, jewellery and design.

A studio space at Gorman includes subsidised rent (which also covers electricity and gas) and a range of other benefits – including heavily discounted venue hire, and being part of a diverse community of artists working across all areas of the arts, including writers, composers, sound producers, illustrators, photographers, dancers, violin-makers… the list goes on! More information can be found here and if you’d like to check out our current residents, they can be found here (yellow = Gorman).

Gorman Commons

The Gorman Commons is a creative co-working space for artists, collectives, and creative small business. It’s different to the studios, and best suits desk-based creatives, or those looking for a space to focus on the business side of their practice.  A desk in the Gorman Commons can be on a casual, part-time, full-time, or after hours basis, and Gorman Arts Centre can offer special rates to suit your requirements. More information can be found here.
