Since 1966, Canberra Spinners and Weavers Inc has promoted the art of spinning, weaving, dyeing and other related crafts. The association houses the Fay Skyring Gallery and offers members a professional textile art library and valuable equipment resources. CSW runs an extensive workshop program, holds monthly meetings with speakers, and sells members work at Exhibitions and Open Day sales. Members have the opportunity to meet at weekly drop-ins, at special interest group sessions and a yearly weekend retreat. CSW supports emerging textile artists with several awards each year. The three days will feature an exhibition, Transformation with a Twist and a Turn including a silent auction of all items. There will also be members’ sales tables of hand made items as well as fibre related demonstrations.
