Michelle has always loved the colours when sun shines through stained-glass windows. Returning to Canberra gave her the opportunity to learn how to cut glass herself. This started an addiction with almost all things glass. Her current practice involves flameworking beads and kiln-forming fused pieces.
Michelle’s glass practice reflects her structured risk management background as well as the world around her. She uses glass colours that react together. The beads are unique, miniature artworks with silver glass to give sparkle and shine. Michelle’s fused pieces reflect her grounding in stained glass and her very logical and structured training.
