Camelia has been working in two mediums; watercolour painting and pottery since early 2000. Initially these interests fitted around her architectural drafting work. As time went on the art work and pottery have become her main occupation.
She is a member of the Artists Society of Canberra, Queanbeyan Art Society and Art in Miniature, Canberra. She exhibits her watercolours with local art groups around Canberra and regionally. She also is a member of the Canberra Potter's Society and a member of the Bimbimbi Potters with whom she exhibits her pottery vessels and wares.
