Meet the maker: Zoe Grigoris

Zoe Grigoris is a jeweller and object maker who uses her work to praise all that is feminine, romantic, and ephemeral. Grigoris is inspired by the worlds constructed by her favourite authors to draw dreamy illustrations upon precious metals.

From her studio at JamFactory Grigoris creates intricate pieces of handmade jewellery through a meticulous process of manual hammering to create repousse motifs. Each necklace, brooch or pair of earrings is a unique is a study in pattern and texture, decorated by floral images and fluttering hearts.

Grigoris’ works capture the sense of wonder that can be found in Impressionist paintings, dances by Pina Bausch and the beauty of the natural world. Being a prolific reader, she likes to tell stories through each unique piece that she makes. These narratives are carried with their wearers throughout their busy lives as they live out their personal stories.
