About the Artist: Helen Keogh is the designer and maker behind Helen Keogh Designs, a luxury handwoven business run in Canberra, Australia. Helen has a background in graphic design and communication management and has always run her own freelance businesses. This latest venture into luxury textiles began two years ago and has been developing steadily.
Helen loves to honor the tradition and history of weaving whilst bringing a contemporary edge to classical patterns using beautiful luxury fibres. She is passionate about creating unique modern heirloom pieces that can be handed down through generations that leave a light footprint on the earth.
Helen really just likes playing on her loom in her garden studio or going next door to her painting drawing studio. She considers herself to have a very lucky life.
