Gain skills and a working knowledge of the arts world by volunteering or interning at Craft ACT: Craft + Design Centre. We welcome volunteers year round and always appreciate dedicated people to help in the office or during events. Flexible arrangements available. 

Internships

Craft ACT Internships provide invaluable experience, develop strong relationships within the craft sector and help you to stay connected to the arts community. We provide references and valuable career advice to successful interns.

We have a yearly call out for internships and successful candidates will intern for a period of 6-7 weeks (1 exhibition block). To make sure you don't miss out, sign up to our mailing list to be the first to hear about our call out. 

DESIGN Canberra Festival

Volunteering for DESIGN Canberra is a great way to see exhibitions and events come together, meet people and get involved in the local Canberra craft and design community. It is a great environment to learn new skills and build your resume. DESIGN Canberra welcomes volunteers of all backgrounds and abilities. There are a range of different projects, offering different hours and flexibility to fit in around work and life commitments.

The 2020 festival will run from 9– 29 November. The call out for volunteers will take place in September. To make sure you don't miss out, sign up to our mailing list.
