About the Maker: Catherine Large is a contemporary jeweller and metalsmith based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Making original jewellery, objects and flatware in precious metal, she draws on her experiences of travel and the nature of 'stuff' both inherited and collected, to inform her work.

Catherine uses recycled metals in much of her work, and reuses materials when possible. She has been the recipient of many grants and has works in both public and private collections.
