Salary range: $48,000 - $53,000 + 9.5% employer superannuation contribution

Hours: Full time (38 hours a week)

The ATW is looking for an energetic and highly motivated self-starter, with a passion for developing and implementing a variety of programs that engage and expand the ATW’s audiences through events, talks, tours, exhibitions, tapestry loans etc.

The Public Programs Coordinator is responsible for managing the Artists in Residence program, the Kate Derum Award, Irene Davies Award, the Tapestry Design Prize for Architects and other programs. The position is also responsible for co-ordinating the Friends of the Tapestry Workshop, collaborative events with other cultural institutions, and implementing and managing an exciting program of tapestry classes and workshops. The position works closely with the Director and other staff in developing promotional materials including the monthly eNews, the website, newsletters, invitations etc. The audiences include clients; patrons; donors and supporters; government; artists; collectors; and other cultural organisations; Friends of the ATW; the general public and other stakeholders.
