Craft ACT: Craft + Design Centre announces

2020 Artistic Program

Craft ACT is recognised as a leading centre in Australian craft and design, with a vision to strengthen the dynamic link between the arts – as encompassed in the craft sector – and the broader creative industries and design sector. Artistic excellence underpins Craft ACT’s rationale for existence. The annual artistic program showcases and supports artists, craft practitioners, designers and makers at every stage of their careers from recent graduates and early career artists through to iconic practitioners as well as craft and design researchers. The program is diverse and innovative, supporting experimental and traditional exhibitions, as well as hosting regional, national and international projects.

The 2020 Exhibition Call Out received a high standard of applications from artists all over Australia who work in a wide range of mediums. Each application was accessed by our dedicated Artistic Excellence Panel, comprised of six Accredited Professional Members ( who are leaders within their Craft fields) and Craft ACT CEO + Artistic Director Rachael Coghlan.

Thank you to our Artistic Excellence Panel and congratulations to all the successful artists!
