2020 artist of the year

Congratulations to Craft ACT member Julie Bradley who was named Canberra artist of the year by the Canberra Critics Circle judging panel.

Julie is a well-respected member at Craft ACT, an established artist working in the area of mixed media works on paper, and has achieved a distinguished 35-year career in the visual arts profession.

Julie is a role model to many others in the craft and design community: she is a committed, hardworking, productive, positive and energetic artist. She works from her studio at Canberra’s ANCA and her work is held in the collections of the National Gallery of Australia, the Australian National University, Canberra Museum and Gallery, the University of Canberra Collection, Bundanon Trust and the Lu Rees Archive. She has won numerous awards and exhibits her work in both solo and group exhibition across Australia.

Julie has two beautiful works (shown above) in the c/o Craft ACT members exhibition. (Both have sold, sorry!)

Congratulations Julie!
