Wayne Creaser is a Canberra based furniture maker who completed his Bachelor of Design Arts with Honours majoring in furniture at the ANU School of Art and Design. As part of his degree, Wayne completed two years of study in the School of Arts gold and silver workshop. Currently Wayne is a graduate in residence in the Furniture Workshop at the ANU School of Art and Design, undertaking small commissions are other work. This position has also afforded an opportunity to work as a tutor for first year students. Wayne also works part-time for a furniture restorer to broaden his knowledge and skills in a range of aspects relating to furniture, including repair, colour matching and finishing.

Wayne recently completed (Oct/Nov 2019) a six week residency at the Sturt School for Wood in Mittagong, where he refined a stool design made in 2015 and undertook a small batch run to determine its viability as a saleable product.
