Oscar Capezio

Mixed Media / Curator

Associate Member

Oscar Capezio is an artist/curator and painter from Canberra, Australia. His critical practice traces the dilemmas of being an artist in the world, playing the viewer and staying warm. His work is not reconcilable with any single image or fixed medium, rather, like an organism it requires context to thrive.

Oscar completed a Bachelor of Art History & Curatorship (First Class Honours) at the Australian National University’s Centre for Art History and Art Theory in 2015, receiving the CAPO Emerging Curator Award, and the Janet Wilke Prize for Art History. He has presented work locally and interstate since 2013.
