Naomi Zouwer is a Canberra born and based cross-disciplinary artist who works with drawing, painting, and textiles mediums to make works that engage with ideas of identity, cultural heritage and the role of domestic objects as conduits to understanding how we belong and connect to the past and the present.

Zouwer's recent practice-led PhD project at the ANU draws on the traditions of still life painting and domestic embroidery to explore the relationship of family keepsakes to ideas of time, memory and migration stories.
