Carman Skeehan is a Canberra based glass artist currently in her final
year at the ANU School of Art and Design.
As an emerging artist, Carman is committed to her craft, professional
development and understands the value of collaboration,
experimentation and constant research.
Her practice is heavily process driven. Taking a lot of time to sketch,
test and critique all pieces no matter what level of development they are
at. After thorough research and sketching all work is first tested in clear
glass, after this Carman then works up to a final form in her intended
colours and techniques.
Carman will be mentoring first years at The School of Art and Design in
2019 and starting Honours in 2020.
