Barak Zelig using found objects to create small sculptures and steel to create large sculptures. The interest in hybrids is evident in his small sculptures. In large sculpture Barak interested in illusion and ‘the unexpected’ which links all his works. Barak participated in sculpture exhibitions such as North Sydney Art Prize, ‘Hidden’ Rookwood Cemetery Sydney, Sculpture Bermagui, Lake Light Jindabyne, and Contour 556/18 Canberra. He won the Re-Use Award Clearwater Prize Queanbeyan, 2014 and Staff Choice Award in Hidden, Sydney 2018. In 2013, Barak was commissioned to create a stainless sculpture as a gift for the Canberra Centenary.
